Speaker: Dr. Oscar Tellez
"I was fortunate that my doctoral research was based on a real case of a transport problem for people with disabilities.
At first I did not think about starting a business (at least in the short term) but the insistence of one of my colleagues to create something together made me change my mind in the end. It's been almost two years since we started. We have won some promising contests in France and a 500k collaborative project but we are just at the start of a promising adventure. We made some mistakes and gathered some take out along the way. In this seminar, I would share some of them that might be useful if you want to go this route."

Oscar Tellez got his PhD in industrial engineering at INSA Lyon, he is currently a postdoctoral researcher at HEC Liège within the Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management strategic research field. He is co-founder of Nomad (www.nomad-opt.com), a company that provides transport optimization services for people with disabilities in medical care
