Invited expert: Jeremy Moon, Professor of Sustainability Governance, Director CBS Sustainability Centre, Copenhagen Business School

Jeremy Moon is a political scientist who has been studying regulation and corporate social responsibility (CSR) for 30+ years. His research focuses on theoretical and comparative aspects of CSR and sustainability, and on relationships between government and CSR.  
 
Moon has supervised 25 PhDs to completion 20 of which have been on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability themes.
 
He has taught PhD courses on ‘Theories of Corporate Social Responsibility’ & ‘Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability’.  He has been a PhD external examiner on numerous occasions (e.g. Monash University; Melbourne University; University of East Anglia; Free University of Amsterdam; University of Warwick (X 3); Erasmus University, Rotterdam).
 
Moon has played a key role in the development of international networks in the field, notably as the co-convenor of the European Group for Organization Studies (EGOS) Business and Society Standing Working Group (2012 – 2017).   He has served as Co-Editor of the Cambridge University Press series Business, Value Creation and Society for nearly a decade; on the Academy of Management Social Issues in Management Division Committee; on the Academy of Business in Society Management Board, and on its Supervisory Board.
